Shenandoah men get 9 years for Ramirez beating

WILKES-BARRE -

Derrick M. Donchak and Brandon J. Piekarsky must spend nine years in a
federal prison for their role in the 2008 Shenandoah beating death of
illegal Mexican immigrant Luis Eduardo Ramirez Zavala, a judge ruled
Wednesday morning.

Senior U.S. District Judge A. Richard Caputo handed down the sentence
in the Max Rosenn United States Courthouse.
