What if I was to say you should just believe in evolution
without asking questions?
You, Evolutionists, will not believe in the Christian faith;
so why should we, Christians believe in your Evolutionary 'nonsense'.
(I was going to type 'ideas', but paused, and decided to write nonsense -
ie the 'nonsense' of 'Nobody bring life into existence from nothing.'
So you don't think it would be a good idea to believe in evolution
without evidence?
Only God can do that, but you will not accept that God does exist.
And you have talked, and talked an talked God's non-existence into
your 'philosophy of Life', and either you can not, or will not, get
that idea out of your brain.
I agree with you that we should not believe something
without evidence.
But Moses wrote, "In the beginning God created'. Genesis 1 : 1
How are you testing that?
All of life on our farm taught me, if nothing else could have done,
that life comes from pre-existing life.
So you think life has always existed?
Take that back to the beginnings o9f life on planet earth,
and there is but one fact is ; God created ie the pre-existence of God.
I still need to know how you are testing that.
And I am prepared to accept that truth while you are spending hours and hours
of your life muttering, "No God'".
You did say it is not a good idea to believe without evidence.
It's sad, Heisenberg, - a very sad truth;
No living Everlasting God! ..... Who one day will judge you!
If God did judge us he would be judging himself on how he
acted as creator.
Jesus Christ, God's Son, said, (John 3 : 16 - 17)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
For god sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.
v 18 He who believes on Him is nor condemned,
but he who has NOT believed is condemned already
for he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Matthew 7:1 says we must judge God, and things like the above
show God to be mentally retarded and evil.
v 19 And this is the condemnation that light has come into the world,
and MEN (INCLUDES WOMEN LOVE DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT.)
Luke 6:37 says that we should condemn God.
"Darkness' means your own deliberate non-acceptance of truth
as it is given to you.
By truth you mean Christian lies, right?
I have repeatedly given you true truth but you prefer to live in
the darkness of fundamental Christianity.
What evidence did your atheistic friends have,
those who placed the chapter on evolution in the 1963,
NSW Secondary Science text, that Evolution had occurred.
(I was a teaching Infants' Mistress in a Western Sydney suburb in that year,
and never a word did I hear uttered at the public level of that information.
I don't know how much evidence they had then but now the evidence
is overwhelming.
You didn't dispute that truth.
And why should Christians who believe that God created
giving the means for change within each organism during its lifetime,
ie. environmental circumstances (climate etc) and aging,
accept a theory that implies and/or states
that life has evolved from unicellular to multicellular,
with some remaining at the simpler cell stage,
while others progressed to the complex animals and plants
in the world today?
Because that is what happened. Nobody wants evolution to be true.
Evolution is a cruel, wasteful process but it happened and it is
important we know.
You depend on evolutionary knowledge for your health.
For eight weeks before I was born in 1928, the doctor didn't think
neither nor my mother would make I would 'make it'.
But we did. Neighbours prayed, my mother and her parents prayed
and my mother lived to her early nineties,
and I am now eighty seven years of age.
You seem to be doing well for your age.
You should be grateful to medical scientists who rejected the
'medicine' of bible days to discover real medicine.
It stands to reason that knowledge of our evolutionary origins
helps us understand why we are as we are.
At my age of eighty-seven years with my younger years on a poultry farm and
the growing of some crops there has been no evidence of evolutionary
changes, except for the normal aging process.
I don't believe you. You tried to convince me there was no life at all
on your parents' farm.
All life is evidence of evolutionary changes so to say you saw no
such evidence on your farm is to say your farm had no living
beings.
And from whence came the chemical molecules - the 'seeds of life'?
Nobody knows how or if life began.
Perhaps it always existed.
You didn't dispute that.
You desperately, oh! so desperately want that God does not exist.
I am sorry for you, Heisenberg
That's very kind of you Gladies, but it is much easier to be an
atheist. No need to fear things that don't exist. No need to be
a slave to those who claim to speak for God.
If the bible is to be believed God is a mentally deranged
evil lunatic.
Nobody - no living human - was there when god created as given in Genesis
of the Bible.
Not even God!
I qualified ... NO LIVING PERSON
But life comes from life, right, so God can't be the source of life.
Evolutionists do need the long ages for their theory.
And if it does not exist, then just make it up.
You can throw out millions of years, especially to school students,
(also to some adults) and as Evolutionary theories, for an against,
are not generally topics of conversation,
and, at least, there will probably be some who accept.
I have added some text to the end of this post which shows
how the ages of the earth and universe are determined, from
a Christian website no less!
You will see there is no guessing and no making things up.
Yes, some Christians have added Evolution and long ages to their beliefs -
ie that God used long ages for His creation.
But that is just plain guesswork.
Its more wishful thinking as they can't deny the evidence for
evolution over long periods of time but they can't give up
their 'baby blamket' either.
Life is too complex for atoms to have emerged
and then for them to come together in an amazing plethora of forms
to form all the living organisms that are in the world today.
And yet here we are, so obviously you are wrong!
You keep trying to talk yourself out of existence.
Just start to think, Heisenberg, instead of babbling your Atheistic nonsense.
Are you ready for your next lesson?
